Notes:

1. Graduation ceremony and parade took place at Scout Dog Detachment Training School, Fort Benning, Georgia.
2. PFC David Kirkpatrick did not ship to Vietnam with the 47th and remained on clerical assignment to the Dog Training Detachment for the remainder of his active duty.
3. PFC Dock E. Swindle did not ship to Vietnam with the 47th and is believed to have shipped over later as a replacement handler.
4. PFC James J Drum did not ship to Vietnam with the 47th - disposition unknown.
